Harrington Park, formed on March 29, 1904 from portions of both Harrington Township, Washington Township and parts of Closter, is a Borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough population was 4,740. According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 2.1 mi².

Green Acres Conservation Area, tennis courts on Hackensack Avenue, an outdoor skating rink, ball field & playground located on Tappan Road (Highland Field). Playground at George Street Park, and Pondside on Blanch Avenue. A recreation commission serves the district.

Sanitation: Recycling depot is open 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, for newspapers, junk mail, magazines, brown bags, glass, plastic (flattened), aluminum cans, clothing, motor oil, corrugated cardboard, metal, phone books, cardboard. Curbside pickup first Monday of the month (plastic and aluminum only). All household garbage, trash, garden refuse will be picked up at curbside. During winter months (Nov-Mar) pick ups will only be on Wednesdays, (April-Oct) Wed + Sat., Grass (April-Oct): Mon + Thurs.
