Donna Bello-Hansen

Donna has been a resident of Northern New Jersey her entire life and spent the past 26 years raising three sons in Ridgewood with her husband Stephen. She is well-connected in the community and knows the ins and outs of navigating the schools, teachers, sports teams, and town dynamics. She has a wealth of contacts from her time as the Secretary of Ridgewood Ice Hockey Foundation, Co-Chairperson of RHS Project Graduation as well as being a member of Travell and RHS Library Renovation Design Team.

A unique Eye for Real Estate and uncovered potential, Donna earned a finance degree from Fairfield University before attending the New York School of Interior Design. She successfully launched www.DBIDllc.com over twenty years ago and has now designed and renovated over 400 kitchens in the Bergen/Passaic area. DBID offers design services, project management, and high-end, exclusive custom cabinetry direct from the factory.

Her communication skills, network of tradesmen, and ability to co-create a vision for a space that reflects the owner’s desires inspired her to recently launch www.RE-Furbit.com.

RE-Furbit (RE for Real Estate) is a licensed woman-to-woman concierge contracting service that started by updating kitchens for sellers wishing to achieve top dollar for their property. Donna’s finance and design skills help sellers create optimal, cost-effective solutions.

All RE-Furbit certified tradesmen are licensed and well-versed via experience to ensure quality and expediency. The business continues to grow helping homeowners update kitchens and baths but also handles complete house transformation and commercial jobs in NJ and NYC.
Her experience and love for design, coupled with her interest in creating and finding the perfect spaces for her clients made becoming a Realtor® a natural progression 9 years ago. She loves working with people to help find, evaluate and design their dream homes.
