CONTACT Robin Wittich

Gratitude is Robin’s passion and business. Always the giver of gifts, being a Realtor® is not just about the sale for Robin, it’s about the relationship.

“When I hand over the keys to my clients, I know this is the home they’re going to make so many memories in— that’s what makes me happy!” – Robin Wittich-Tarta

Making a career out of her two passions, Robin has been in the gratitude and real estate business since 1985. It started when she got her license as a real estate broker selling and renting luxury apartments with Feathered Nest in New York. At the close of every transaction, Robin would deliver a gift basket with a handwritten ‘Thank you’ note. Referrals poured in.

As a child, Robin recalls her mother had a closet filled with gifts for every occasion and saying, ‘it’s the thought that counts and remembering someone’. Those words of gratitude are the root of Robin’s motivation and inspiration.

Robin brought gift-giving to a new level starting The Thank Tank in 1999. Personalizing thoughtfully-curated gifts, Robin built her client roster with unparalleled customer service, exquisite packaging, and end-to-end hi-touch customer experiences.

Robin sold The Thank Tank in 2017 and returned to real estate full-time joining Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty. Understanding that ‘the experience my clients have throughout the transaction is the most important thing that matters,’ Robin became known to home buyers and sellers as the real estate resource before and after the move. ‘I can’t just leave them after I’ve sold them a home, there’s a lot that goes on as a homeowner.’

Wittich-Tarta is the proud recipient of the Prominent Properties Sotheby’s President’s Award and The NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence® Sales Award®. Charles Oppler, CEO of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty and 2021 President of the National Association of REALTORS® stated, “with an innate ability to positively influence those around her, Robin’s kindness and community engagement are truly remarkable. There is not one thing she wouldn’t do for someone else.”

Expanding her work into the community, Robin bakes for West Bergen Mental Healthcare and is an active member of both the Ridgewood Guild and Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce.

Robin enjoys an active life of fitness with attention to health & wellness. She is a runner of the NYC marathon. From fitness to baking and cooking to saltwater fishing, Robin makes memories entertaining and exploring the deep sea with her children Nicolette & Austin, family and friends. She has called Bergen County her home for over 25 years.
