Allen has been a resident of Bergen County for over thirty years. While a resident of Washington Township, he served on the Washington Township-Westwood School Board for two terms. He was also a member of the Washington Township Ambulance Corps and coached both little league baseball and soccer. As a resident of Paramus, he served on the Paramus Volunteer Ambulance Corps for over ten years.
Mr. Wein received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Baruch College. He also holds two Masters Degrees, one in Education and another in Administration. Allen previously worked for the New York City Board of Education advancing mathematics education as he served as the director of one of the two mathematics resource centers in the city and the director if mathematics, science and technology in a Bronx school district.
