Mary Therese “MT” Reinert

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, MT moved to Manhattan after landing her dream job as a NBC Page. Her 16 year career in TV Production spanned both late night and daytime shows working with David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, and 7 years with Martha Stewart. Working her way up to Line Producer, MT was able to fine tune her scheduling, budgeting, and communication skills and was nicknamed “The Cruise Director” due to her passion for planning weekly outings with colleagues.

Before the birth of her second son, it seemed only natural to move to the suburbs. Hesitant at first to leave the city, MT and her husband quickly fell in love with the vibrant towns in Essex County – specifically the charming gaslamp lined streets of Glen Ridge.  She dove into her new community by taking on the position of Co-President of the Home and School Association at the local elementary school.  Her strengths as a connector and passion for architecture and interior design led her to pursue a second career in real estate.  She was thrilled to join the Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty team and be trained by the best agents in the business.

MT understands a house is not defined by the number of bedrooms or half baths, but rather the features that make it a home…Sunday morning reading nooks, kitchen islands new friends will gather around, and porches for passing out Halloween candy.  Her passion for people is what makes her stand out as an agent clients want to partner with through the emotional process of buying or selling a home.

When not helping clients, MT can be found cheering on her two young boys from the sidelines of their soccer and lacrosse games, walking her dogs Quincy and Frankie, and checking out the hottest new brunch spots in Montclair.
